UPMINSTER GOLF CLUB
A WELCOME OASIS

Sitting astride of Hall Lane, just a short distance from Upminster Town Centre and the M25 is the Upminster Golf Club.

The Golf Club's formation dates back to 1928 and features an impressive 18-hole picturesque parkland course which meanders down towards the River Ingrebourne at its lowest point while Canary Wharf is clearly visible from the higher points. Indeed, the golf course is an oasis of calm and serenity amid our bustling suburban town.

The first and eighteenth holes are overlooked by the impressive club house ( Upminster Hall ) which dates back some 500 years and is a Grade 2* listed building .

The Club often play host to community activities and also provides excellent facilities including the encouragement of junior players into the game. However, the Club is not just about golf, but has an excellent 12 rink bowling green, snooker table and a superb restaurant set in the historical surroundings of the old Upminster Hall.

In total the club has close to 1,000 members, comprising mainly local residents. Golf, bowling and social membership applications are always welcome. For further information please call the secretary on 01708 222788, email secretary@upminstergolfclub.co.uk or visit the website .
