Tithe Barn Museum of Nostalgia

Volunteer helpers urgently needed for the Upminster Tithe Barn Museum of Nostalgia.

The 2006 season commences in April and runs until October with several weekend openings. from 10.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. each day Sometimes private visits are made including schools during the week. Helpers can choose times to suit themselves. They do not have to be an expert in museum matters, but with over 14,500 artefacts stored and displayed in a 15th century barn no doubt many such exhibits will be known to them and therefore will be able to pass information onto the museum's many visitors.

Apart from the change in name this year sees the formation of an education and resource centre together with the setting-up of a "Young Archeologists Club".
