PITCH N' PUTT BACK ON COURSE

The Upminster pitch n' putt course has reopened following months of uncertainty about its future.

The course, situated in Hall Lane , will be open throughout the school summer holidays at the following times:

Monday to Wednesday 10am – 6pm

Thursday to Sunday 10am – 8pm

(Golf hut is shut between 12.30 – 1pm)

Students with NUS card

The course had been shut to undertake extensive remedial works to the greens and to establish management arrangements. The Council are currently managing the course and propose to revert to weekend openings following the school holidays and shutting for the winter season around October.

£10,000 of capital funding has been set aside to improve the facility which will focus on groundworks and new tee-off mats.
