PIPS SMOOTHIE BAR AIMS FOR LONDONS BEST

Pips, the smoothie bar in Station Road, Upminster, has made the final three in a London-wide contest to find the capitals best smoothie bar.

The bar was named one of the top 10 finalists in the Love London Awards 2009, run by Smooth Radio, The Independent and ITV London Tonight.

Owners, Sadie Nunn and Janice Rawlinson, opened the bar two years ago after working at the former Harold Wood Hospital's pharmacy.

The result of the contest will be revealed on 24 th April.
