NEW APPLICATION FOR MOOR LANE RETIREMENT VILLAGE |
The Council has received a fresh application for a retirement village on green belt land at the end of Moor Lane , Cranham (P0989.10).
An almost identical application to build a Retirement Village on the same site was refused last year as it did not demonstrate the very special circumstances required to build on green belt land.
The Cranham Residents' Association will be holding a public meeting to address the issue in the very near future (details to follow).
Cranham Residents' Association councillors believe that preservation of our green belt is of vital importance. Development on our green and open spaces changes the character of an area forever and is something to strive to protect for the community and for future generations. Your Residents' Association councillors will keep the community informed on this proposal and pledge to protect our green and open spaces from inappropriate development.
Should residents have any questions relating to this issue please do not hesitate to contact any of your Residents' Association councillors.
