CRANHAM CARAVAN PARK IN FLAMES |
The Cranham Caravan Park in Front Lane, Cranham, suffered serious damage in a blistering inferno on Monday morning.
Plumes of heavy black smoke could be seen for many miles around as the fire took hold at the caravan park at around 8.30am.
The A127 from the M25 turn-off to Front Lane was closed for many hours as emergency services attended the scene.
This is the second major fire in Upminster within 9 days after Boyd Hall in St Mary's Lane was gutted by flames on Sunday 13th June in asuspected arson attack.
The cause of the Caravan Park fire is currently being investigated.
