RA SHADOW CABINET 2008/09

The Residents' Association Shadow Cabinet arrangements for 2008/09 have been unveiled.

RA Group Leader, Cllr Barrett, said: “T he Cabinet system was introduced in 2002 and the Shadow Cabinet of the Residents' Association have considered, questioned and, where appropriate, requisitioned cabinet decisions. As the composition of the Council Cabinet changes, we ensure our Shadow Cabinet arrangements are amended to match those changes. As the principal opposition, this gives us the flexibility to respond to issues as they arise and we will continue to monitor, question and ensure there is accountability for the decisions made by this Council.”
