CRANHAM VILLAGE GREENED UP BY BROWNIES

Cranham Park Brownies showed they had green fingers in a recent project which set about greening up Cranham village. They have been busy planting out summer bedding plants with members of the Cranham Village Association, Councillors June Alexander, Vicky Blackburn, Oscar Ford and myself. Not only were the Brownies helping the community, but their efforts went towards their Brownie badges.

The Cranham Village Association paid for the replanting of the railing planters. This was an excellent opportunity for the residents to see that not all of the youth in the borough are bad. The girls behaved impeccably and were keen to do their best.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Local retailers and an Easter egg raffle; won by Russell Brown for the donations that helped towards the purchase of plants.
