HORNCHURCH AIR TRAINING CORPS LOOKING FOR RECRUITS

Are you between 13 and 18 and looking for a new and exciting challenge? Or do you know someone who is? 452 (Hornchurch) Squadron ATC is now recruiting new members for the most adventurous and challenging youth organisation today. Among our regular activities are flying, gliding, outward bound, sports, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, drill, radio training, first aid, shooting and camps to RAF bases in the UK and abroad as well as adventure training camps.

By April of this year 452 Squadron will have had various cadets and staff take part in activities that include Nordic skiing in Bavaria, downhill skiing in Austria, trekking in Mustang region of Nepal, hang gliding/paragliding in Wales and Easter camp at RAF Brampton.

We offer cadets the opportunity to gain 2 B.Tec Awards as part of cadet activities. Plus, it is even possible for you to gain your gliding wings and go solo before you can learn to drive a car!
